Those tips are made for cutting if you do heating you will broke them . The oxygen jet must flow from the inside to cool them too
safety goggles for acetylene are available on amazon for like $10-15
The tabs should go under the hem.
is there any formula for the calculation of the amount of force needed to bend the sheet of metal?
Please! Heat is hot Ok Gauges???
Best details on the valves & gauges settings. More of that is good
You probably want to mention why the acetylene is so volatile. It’s because of how it’s stored in the tank. Proper psi is really important because sometimes the cylinder can’t produce enough gas and that can cause blowback. Especially in a colder environment.
It's not so volatile because of how it's stored in the tank. It's stored in the tank the way it is _because_ it's so volatile. It's volatile because of its molecular structure.
@@lajoswinkler Uh… I dunno. Sounds like semantics to me. It’s not just stored in a tank. There’s a monolithic filler and acetone in acetylene tanks that can interfere with the air pressure when the tank is low or cold. And conversely, pressure increases the warmer it gets. So yeah it controls the volatility but in certain conditions it does it too well.
ALWAYS SHUT OXY OFF FIRST!! wth man you going to get these kids fried
Tough crowd
This dude is “teaching” but says we’ve had this machine two weeks and we have already had to change the blade. Oh….yeah he’s wearing gloves to run a damn bandsaw. Give me a break.
😂😂😂
What regulator output pressures did you use?
Give him time to answer, it's only been 5 mo
Very helpful thanks!
You do not wear gloves around any rotating stationary machinery. This video needs to come down.
100%
When your marking always make a crows foot….
Is it normal to complain to a fellow employee about blade life and then just set down your bandsaw teeth on the workpiece?
This guy reminds me of the gun range instructor who fired the gun accidentally.
You put your hand too close to the blade. Extremely dangerous
I use a bandsaw all day sometimes for my metal sculptures and have found going slower you get three times the blade life before they break and also don't over tighten in between they break less....and never buy a saw that doesn't have a coolant pump!
I love the fact Ellis is an American based company. But, dry steel cutting in a production world will NEVER work. You will going through blades on a daily basis.
it's a FINGER brake kids. split that line.
Fascinating, (especially to the boy in blue, at 0:49 (if it's his son, well then we understand- "Dad is SO boring." LOL. But really this is a well narrated and informative video. Thank you, a lot!
I would grind the "bump" off with a diamond blade angle grinder. Funk that!
Thanks for the video! Great content
Really? 101 how about 1 - millennial channel!!!!!
Why did he wave his hand in front of the nuetral flame?😂
This video is extremely vague and in general barely good entertainment and should in no way be used as instructional how to. Misleading abundantly.
Ukazovat učňům jak ustříhnout několik kusů tenkého plechu , hrůza . To spouštění stroje by mělo jít do muzea a celý stroj s ním.Vůbec tam není zadní doraz, zbytky plechu nosí učitel přes celou dílnu!
Nice one pal you just cut a red hot plate straight on to your plasma cables , not the best idea .
Gave you a thumbs up.
Dude you’re supposed to mark the ends of the sheet never in the middle of the panel.
The” straight edge” thing is called the fence
Stop calling them teeth. Omg dude teaching wrong information. There no such thing as a teeth brake. Lmao 😂
Dude is teaching a class and calls the fingers Teeth. 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️ their not called teeth it’s called a finger brake or a box and pan brake Not teeth
I watched this because I do not know how to use a bandsaw. But hands in the line of fire, and wearing gloves, do not belong in an instructional video on how to use one.
Seems like this teacher needs to watch more RUclips videos lol
Diamond Saw Chaffee NY world's finest saw blades 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

We called it a bar folder and its great for making interlocking tiles, clips and so on
1:07 - "Since this one was made in a country that _still actually makes stuff,_ we use a name that describes its function as a tool, instead of a brand name." - That's actually quite appropriate. Also, Facom locking pliers are far better designed than Vise-Grips (whose name you didn't even spell correctly in the video title).
RIP. Still no justice.
So kids without shield, bare arms .... No warning given....
Folks are complaining about the absence of coolant. Lol. When you have a wide blade in a longer saw, the blade isn't engaged in the material enough to heat up as much, so the absence of coolant really isn't that big a deal. Besides, it's a fab shop, not a production shop. If they're doing production cutting big stacks of chromoly bar stock, then yeah, coolant is mandatory. But cutting tubing or random pieces of bar stock isn't a big deal.

Hey got 100% on my assignment because of this video very informational.
Thanks
Wow, talk enough,!
